Student President's Letter to Alumni
Dear Alumni of Alpha Eta Rho,
As you may know, the student members of Alpha Eta Rho recently elected the first National Student President to serve as a non-voting member on the National Board of Directors. This is a great new opportunity for students to contribute directly to the leadership and direction of Alpha Eta Rho.
Alpha Eta Rho is currently in a major transition as AHP National is continuing to develop and impliment positive changes to organizational structure and programs that will ultimately grow Alpha Eta Rho and strengthen its presence in industry. Aviation and aerospace industry forecasts indicate a rapid growth over the next decade and an even greater demand for career opportunities for the highly-qualified members of Alpha Eta Rho. In keeping with Alpha Eta Rho's committment to foster, mentor, and provide the future leaders of our industry, we would like to form new chapters and expand current chapters so that we can provide additional scholarships and support to student members of AHP. In order to do this we need your help.
As AHP Alumni, you serve as the link between the collegiate and professional levels of the aviation industry, a very important connection for our organization. You provide inspiration and opportunities for student and fellow alumni members to succeed. Ultimately, Alpha Eta Rho depends on alumni at the national, local, and individual levels for support. Registering online is a great way to show support and receive your very own AHP Challenge Coin. If you have not done so already, please be sure to register to gain access to the exclusive membership features of www.AlphaEtaRho.org!
On behalf of AHP Student Members and the National Board of Directors, I would also like to invite you to attend the 2012 National Conference on April 12th -15th in Columbus, Ohio. Details of the convention will be posted in the members-only area of the website under "NATIONAL."
These next few years are going to be very exciting for all members of Alpha Eta Rho as we seek to expand our membership and get in touch with any and all alumni throughout the world. We ask that you forward this letter to any and all alumni whom you know, so they may serve as a crucial part of this organization.
Please feel free to call or e-mail me at anytime with any questions, concerns or feedback you have. I look forward to hearing from you.
Fraternally,
