Dylan Brian Mardoian – FedEx Scholarship Winner

Dylan Brian Mardoian is a Junior at the Western Michigan University and is pursuing a double major in Aviation Flight Science and Aviation Management and Operations. During his time at WMU, Dylan has obtained his Private Pilot Certificate, works as a Student Ambassador and is active in the Bronco Marching Band.

Dylan is currently on the Executive Board of the Theta chapter as Initiate Member Master. Even during COVID-19 he was able to recruit 27 new members to have the largest Alpha Eta Rho Chapter with a total of 58 members.

The Lead Flight Instructor said, “His success thus far in college is a testament of his time management ability and dedication in that he has successfully integrated part-time employment into his busy college schedule.”

With the award of the scholarship, this will help Dylan reach his dreams of being a commercial pilot. 

 

Casidee Abram – Alpha Eta Rho Scholarship Winner

Casidee Abram is a Junior at Indiana State University and pursuing a double major of Professional Aviation Flight Technology and Unmanned Systems degrees. While attending school, Casidee is an active member of the Iota Rho Chapter, Indiana State Flight Team, volunteers at Rethink, Inc and Elara Caring and works a part-time job at Menards.

Casidee is an instrument rated, private pilot finishing up her commercial rating.

The Senior Flight Instructor said “Ms. Abram has been an outstanding role model for women aviators wanting to get into both the professional and general aviation industries. She has outshined her peers in the flight program, has been self-motivated to better herself, and her abilities as a future professional aviator.”

With the award of this scholarship, Casidee will use the funding to work on becoming a CFI.
